Your child can learn the basics of good communication and BSL over a course of 10 hours, which can be delivered both in school and outside school hours. As well as games, activities and lots of fun, children aged 7-15 will cover the BSL alphabet, numbers, colours, animals, food and drink, weather, transport, and directions. Participants will also be offered the opportunity to sit a short, basic assessment and gain a nationally recognised certificate – BSL 101. This Signature accredited qualification is an asset to your child’s achievements and taking part in the clubs is an important step along the road towards a more inclusive society.
